WLAN whitelist "removed" + SLIC2.1
HP_TX2000_sp39357_30E5F08_SLIC21_no_whitelist.zip
FLASH BIOS IN WINDOWS using SWinFlash, or Winphlash64 (64bit)
Thanks for the modded BIOS.
It was flashed OK.
Will check with new wlan card later and give a report.
Update:
It turned out that wlan card is ok but some troubles with motherboard
Therefore cannot check BIOS mod with different card.

First problem these bios cannot be open/decompose by know tools.
Second, working with a dumped bios is very hazardous, anyway i've not figure out to find the whitelist protection routines in the code.
in resume, i cant do it.

regards Having investigate deeper in partitions of my HDD I found HP_Tools directory with Current Bios 01611.bin which is readable by ezh2o (http://db.tt/2TjxFE5).
Did next: ezh2o (v. 2.1.0.13) open .bin -> open ezh2o (total RAM) with WinHex -> found no links to whitelist section -> looked for my current Wi-Fi ID, changed current Wi-Fi ID to willing Wi-Fi ID -> Save (ctrl+s) in WinHex -> Save as in ezh2o
But when open new .bin (or .fd whatever) see no changes, still old Wi-Fi IDs.
What should be the problems? Will you, please, change IDs with your tools? Thanks in advance.
P.S.: While editing RAM in WinHex always get error notification, that memory has changed, could not get access to memory.

you have not investigated enough, the direct memory edit with ezh2o (v. 2.1.0.13) doesnt work. You must use a workaround, make a change in bios logo, then ezh2o will accept all changes.
note: i already know how to find the dumped bios from recovery partition, but as i early wrote: working with a dumped bios is very hazardous.
good luck

So, this is a dump of bios?! I was thinking this is an unpacked/unencrypted version of bios (e.i. 01611.bin (2.28 mb) is encrypted, and 01611.bin (2.0 mb) is unencrypted/raw). In my mind insyde flash works through next steps:
- get encrypted file and decryptes it
- Get unencrypted file and flash it in bios memory
and the problem was noon can open encrypted file...
What is the danger to work with dump of bios? Will changes in wifi card ID affect laptop work?
Is it possible to flash bios with modified dump of bios using insydeflash (standard utility in .exe pack)?

What is the danger to work with dump of bios? minor, because recovery is easy
Will changes in wifi card ID affect laptop work? NO
Is it possible to flash bios with modified dump of bios using insydeflash (standard utility in .exe pack)? NO, the tool will complain about missing signature file.
good luck

edit the bios by the way you want, direct memory edit with ezh2o (v. 2.1.0.13)with bios logo workaround (google for the how to in details) or andy'p phoenixtool from MDL forum.
for flashing you can make test by replacing the bios file in recovery partition and see if it's possible to "reflash" by this way.
by by and good luck.
