ACER e5-721 recovery bios

Hi Dudu2002,

As i see, your are the acer's BIOS god in this topic ! 
I have the same problem here. My Acer e5-721 is black and does not boot (black screen, blue LED is on).
I do not know what Bios version but can you share me bios files that i can put in usb key and use with Fn+ Esc key ?

Same problem here. My Acer e5-721 is black and does not boot or POST.
I do not know what Bios version it uses but newest Bios for this computer is Acer_1.07

My mom's e5-721 has the black screen, fan whirs for about 20 seconds and that's it. Can't seem to get a USB bios flash to work. I'm assuming the original bios was the 1.06 version as computer was purchased in 2015. Any thoughts out there? Thanks.

Hey, I'm afraid I have the same problem on a laptop that belongs to my sick dad... I've tried all the regular stuff, but it won't stop showing the black screen. It also doesn't seem to read the USB stick if I try the regular procedure. If you have anything that can help that'd be great. Thanks.

Struggeling with this crazy E5-721 platform. It has a very unstable boot for me, and the Bios corrupted. Regular windows Bios update tool didnt update the bios as it said "error : invalid firmware image".

Fixed it by :

1) going into the TEMP folder of the FW tool (c:\users\admin\AppData\Local\Temp\7zSA98E.tmp). Ensure you have enabled show hidden files and folders.
2) take the file ZQNbiosR.fd and place it onto a FAT formatted USB stick
3) rename the file to zqn.fd
4) ensure the stick is in the left usb port
5) cold reboot, by pressing-and-holding fn+esc and then powering on
6) you should see the stick blinking.
7) power off after 1 minute and hope its fixed

at least in my case it worked. Good luck!!
