Acer Aspire 3750 Ivy Bridge upgrade - is it possible?

Hi!

I have an Aspire 3750 with HM65 chipset, InsydeH2O BIOS, i3 2310M CPU, and I have a BIOS bricked Dell Inspiron 5520 with HM77 chipset, i7 3612QM CPU. Is it possible to get the Ivy CPU working in Acer laptop? The TDP is same, and the socket is same too.

Your laptop is based on HM65 without support for Ivy Bridge core.
So you can't use your i7-3612QM.
