Asus Rampage III Extreme ZioMod Bios (Latest: 1601_S17)

well got this from asus its the latest internal bios build for rampage 3 extreme aka the 1601 , hope you can do something with this


p.s.: after doing abit of research ive found out that aes-ni is enabled by default on motherboards such as the rampage 3 extreme and i7980x

Hello, If i flash the new ZioMod 1601_S06 Bios to my rampage III, does that override my saved overclock settings profile (asus OC profiles)
What do i do with this file? "OROM modules from 1601_S06" Arent they integraded in the new bios file?

It will not override your settings. You just have to flash the bios as usual, modules are provided just for those who want to mod the bios themselves.

With current drivers i miss about 100 MB/S (read) on my vertex drive. maybe its the windows 8 ?

My raid0 array does 600MB/S +-

Did you put your ssd raid array on Intel or Marvell controller? On the Intel it's pretty normal to get about 500 mb/s Max read using both channels. You won't get higher results with Marvell though. Till now, nobody succeeded in passing trim command to a raid array on x58 based boards.
