From what i can tell, all components are the same except i cannot see motherboard specifications on either brand!?

The two laptops don't look the same to me, so I would personally recommend against doing that. May I ask why you would want to crossflash the BIOS?

They both run a Ryzen 7 5800H and a GeForce RTX 3070.
which should be all i need to know when it comes to power delivery to all parts, perhaps there's something else that i don't understand, What is it that you see differentiate that steer you away from trying a cross-flash.

On your question why i want to do it: I just think the XMG's BIOS is better, can tinker a bit with ram spec's and so on.
