Dell Dimension E520 overclock success

I know there have been many requests to unlock a Dell BIOS, and I don't think it's ever happened. I just want to share an overclock success I've had without a BIOS mod. So it may seem a little bit OT, but then again maybe not to the people who look here and can't get a BIOS mod. I've got my E520 running at 3.72Ghz QX6800SLACP. I've had it to 3.99Ghz. momentarily. http://valid.x86.fr/l2j5p1

I came across an overclocking guide for notebooks which are a lot like locked OEM computers only worse for parts.
 It has some interesting mods and software that might be useful here. It's very long.

 The most interesting thing to me is the TME mod. There is a TME pin on the PLL that if set at boot to 1 it prevents overclocking the FSB.
On the newer PLLs they attach a 2nd function to it after boot so it's hard to mod. I think the bit can be reset in Clockgen so it works, but loses the setting on every boot. II this bit could be set to low in the BIOS then pimods and software overclocks would be possible. The Optiplex 780 BIOS allows SetFSB to work. So not all Dells have this. There is a lot of talk about resistors, and whether to put it in series or parallel to ground, but on the newer ones I think a diode to block the  locking signal but keep the PCI output should work.
 Another thing that's there is RW Everyting which reads and writes to all the chips. These guys were even changing the latency of their memory modules to match their overclocks. It's output is all hexadecimal which makes it of no use to me. But maybe you guys could use it to monitor the changes you make.
In the E520 it's pin 4 on the PLL that is the TME/PCI Freq. pin.
