I'm trying to setup my Gigabyte H81M-S2H mobo to allow WinApps, using KVM, to run. I notice that the BIOS option for 'Intel Virtualization Technology' is shown only when the option 'Intel TXT (LT) Support' is disabled. Even then virtualisation doesn't appear to work. It works only when I have enabled Intel TXT (LT) Support and therefore cannot enable Intel Virtualisation Support. I don't understand this: what has a Trusted Execution Technology got to do with running a virtual machine? My CPU seems to be fully enabled for VT-d. Any explanation?
