I installed the mod bios in a HP Pavilion model a6630br (motherboad MS-7525 ver:1.0) and a XEON E5440.
Windows CPU performance went from 6,1 (Core2Duo) to 7,3 (Xeon E5440).
See CPU-Z results bellow.

Thank you DeathBringer !!

Hello there,

I have an HP a6631es with MS-7525 mobo and CPU dual core E7200. It´s all standard with no mods or upgrades. I have just followed instructions of first page and flashed modded bios succesfully.

Now I´m searching for a processor and wanted to ask recommendations. I´m thinking about E5450, because it has a tdp of 85w vs 65w of my dual core. I don´t want to upgrade power supply unless you tell me it´s worth installing a better processor with more tdp.

Any advice will be welcome

Thanks to all people that make this possible.

Mod BIOS installed and my Q9505 working perfect, temperatures correctly reported, full speed achieved, and it downclocks itself to 2GHz when not in use. Original cooler keeps it at 62ºC at 100% 4 cores, Arctic MX4 applied. Not bad for a 95W TDP processor.

BIG THUMBS UP!  Smile
