Modding BIOS for GA-EP45-UD3P's Comand Registers

I was wondering if it would be possible to mod the BIOS for my GA-EP45-UD3P. I'm was interested in PxCMD—Port [5:0] Command Register (D31:F2) of the ICH10 specification. Bits 18 and 21.

Page 553 of Intel's spec for ICH10, bit 18 Hot Plug Capable Port (HPCP). It's a longshot I know. But it seems Gigabyte is not setting this property correctly.
