Need BIOS Recovery ROM Name
#1
TLDR: Motherboard(Z87-G41) is bricked, need the recovery name of the bios to attempt the recovery. Link at the bottom.

Hello. I bricked my motherboard(you will see it in the link) and it's a AMI Aptio UEFI bios. I tried using the AMIBOOT.ROM on a USB drive but it didn't work. I later found out that Aptio BIOS have different names(for example, Supemicro motherboards use Super.ROM instead of AMIBOOT.ROM for recovery). People suggested an RMA but I honestly need this computer urgently. This is the last thing I can try before finally giving up. My USB works, everything powers on but no beep codes or POST(black screen, no onboard sound) so it may be recoverable. Here is the link to the bios:

http://download.msi.com/bos_exe/7850v18.zip

Thanks Smile

If 'E7850IMS.180' did not help, then you will not flash bios by this method.
Check, that you are doing everything correctly.

Thanks, sorry about that. I don't have a flash drive at the moment(tried a PSP, iPod Shuffle, 3 android phones and none worked) so I have to go get one. I'm just hoping that this will recover it since the motherboard still receives power. I'll keep you guys updated since this will help a ton of people who are bricking MSI boards through M-FLASH if this works.
