Can you elaborate as to why this would happen? I use the integrated graphics because the Nvidia card is a battery drain in the first instance, but I also need to disable it as it is incompatible with the operating system I will be installing. Surely the Intel Integrated Graphics would allow the laptop to boot?

I've included the link to the latest bios for this laptop and I've also included a report of my PC with the same bios. I would like to have the advance menu to change internal graphic cards ram usage among other things.

Laptop: acer aspire v3-572g with the model number Z5WAH.
I want to be able to access the advanced settings for fan control. I prefer cooler temps over a quiet fan. As well as other acpi and thermal management settings.

I've tried using the BDW.fd using FN+ESC recovery, the USB stick is being read. System never reboots, is the filename correct or should it be renamed? I have also tried BIOS.fd, same result.

The BIOS has no advanced tab or any options to change much at all.
