[REQUEST] Asus G731GW BIOS Unlock
#21
@Arma46

1)
First make a bios dump with this tool and attach.

2)
Remind you a thing ,on this platform(asus intel 8th and 9th gen laptops ) ,if you want to do cpu undervolt ,
please use throttlestop or intel xtu utilities. As if you directly tune "Core Voltage Offset" in bios ,it might cause undervolt crash
then your laptop can't boot up normally then going to a loop with turn on and restart.

Use this tool to backup current bios and attach it.(run dump.bat as administrator)

I have an Asus G731GW and I would unlock the undervolt in the bios because in this version 309 is block and if is possible unlock overclock

1.Don't directly tune voltage in the bios ,if you don't want to kill your laptop. Please do undervolltage via Throttlestop.

2. It didn't support and also not suitable cpu overclocking in a laptop platform ,if you wanna get cpu overclocking ,replace a desktop motherboard is a better choice. Please consider the space design ,mainboard power vrm and temperature ..etc ,many problem.

3. Your mod was done.

@archrazielx

1 .Your mod was done ,check the PM.

2. Remember to block the Windows Update to update latest bios ,or it will still update bios secretly in the background.

1) why in question 1 can't i undervolt my laptop? the version after mine has the undervolt in the bios. I already use ThrottleStop but much more comfortable undervolt via bios

3)Sorry the site is very buggy,and not receive the notification and not have download your file in PM, please resend it

1. I have told you ,if you directly directly tune voltage in the bios ,your laptop will die ,didn't you seen??

2. I sent you a PM at 20210926 ,then i found you're always offline ,so i deleted the bios mod after 7 days. Today is 20211011 ,then you said this is forum's bug? the fact is that you didn't login this forum for a long time ,so how do you to receive pm.

3. I will suggest you roll back to old version ,then you still could do undervolt via ThrottleStop. Remember block Windows Update to automatically update bios.

1) I saw it but you just said my laptop will die but you didn't explain the reasons, as the new version of my laptop has the undervolt in the bios

2) I was offline because as I said I did not think I had received an answer because I had activated the notification but I have not received it, in the posted image I have shown that when I write a post via pc, the writings of the forum overlap what I write.

see the latest message, please
