This patch is useful if the BIOS tabs are displayed duplicated in AMIBCP utility. You may have heard that in modules with the name "amitse" there may be a line serving as a switch for the visibility of various menus. But sometimes it is not so easy to edit it. Over the top of the screenshot, you can see the key details of how place for the patch should look. Below you can see the call for the previously mentioned line, as well as the changes in one of the functions. Thanks to them, you can regret understanding what values ​​are contained in the string and fill it all with zero bytes.

To clarify since my threads were merged I did not try the above patch. I will do this myself with help. Otherwise if it's easier for someone else just to do it I'm certainly not going to complain.

Appreciate you looking regardless. I've sent genuis239 a message. Hopefully that person is able to help me out here. I know someone knows how to make this happen but it may be a case that they actually still work for Dell and I'll never know lol.

I have some questions.
1. How do you re-write/re-flash the bios dump? use a spi programmer or other utilities?

2. After you edit bios and re-write the modified bios , does the machine still boot normally?

3. Could you capture a screenshot of current bios?
(The finally result of modify might end in failure because of dell's custom bios graphic interface and limited amount of tabs container )

Spi programmer. Pulled 3 dumps and verified they were good and all matched. Modded with amibcp setting items from default to user starting at root that I wanted to see. Flash of modded bios went fine. Machine boots and operates as normal as if I did nothing. I had to pull a 4th dump to verify I actually installed my modded bios.

Photos are from right now with the modded bios installed. Which it looks exactly the same as an un modded bios.

I honestly never even thought about the actual gui tab container. Would you happen to know how it is written. Could I possibly modify using something in visual studio? I also doubt it makes any difference but I went throw the hex code and atleast decoded what was used for the alphabet and 0 through 9. Nothing jumped out at me between visible and hidden items as a difference though. That was ultimately what I was trying to find.

If they haven't any changes on the bios menu ,it means the mod will hard to continue and over my ability.
