Hey !

I have a Lenovo g500 and the same problem about the AC 7260 wifi chip which is not supported by my BIOS...
here is my back up BIOS by Universal BIOS Backup ToolKit 2.0 :

Could someone please help me in order to force the BIOS to accept my wifi chip AC ?

Okay, the BIOS is completely different!
It offers so much more options to customize the laptop, including the fan speed!
I'm certain it will work with the new Wi-Fi card.

Ok, it took 1 more day, but it's here - Intel Wireless-AC 3160.
For some reason it's running only on 150 Mbps, but the speed is decent. My router can output 300 Mbps.
The signal quality is better though, much better than with the original card.
Bluetooth working as well, so it's all good.

Hi all!

I have 2 problems with my Lenovo g500. First is the splash screen"lenovo"and the machine wont start(somethimes), the second problem the dvd-rw disappear and i cant find in windows 7,8.1,10,ubuntu, not even in bios. Somethimes apear and after a restart disappear....I have the latest version of bios(2.03)and i want to downgrade to 2.01. Can i do this? Thx for help, sorry for my english.

To Downgrade You need to set into Bios the reflash option and then
