Power subsystem on this motherboard doesn't support CPUs with TDP=45W.
Only i7-3612QM and i7-3632QM are recommended among quad cores CPU.

I upgraded my Lenovo G580 to the i7-3612QM CPU and everything works fine EXCEPT the turbo boost. Already flashed to the latest BIOS( 5ECN96WW(v9.01) 3/14/2013) but it made no difference. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do Load Defaults in BIOS, save and reboot.
Make a screenshot of ThrottleStop (main window) with running TS Bench.
And show a screenshot of third (Mainboard) tab of CPU-Z.

I need a screenshot of ThrottleStop when TS Bench is running, not after it stopped.
