Update. It has been a few hours now since i flashed my bios and i can safely say after many reboots and installation of different wifi cards all is working fine without an itch. Thanks again fjfc

I also have a Lenovo G580 Model 20150 with Bios 5ECN96WW(V9.01) and is desperately in need of adding a different wifi card. So please guide me in what I need to do . Thanks in advance.
