As usual I think I messed up with some of the info I gave earlier. I realize that my Bios is not from Insyde but Phoenix instead. I dont know if that bad info would have caused the problem i am having my friend? I attached a picture to verify it.

Any difference?

i want to upgrade my wlan with a Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6235 but i got err. 104.

• current bios version: 62CN97WW

• bios backup tool cannot identify my bios (see attachment)

Even after prr... Strange... Try downgrading the bios first bafore flashing or else you will need external programmer

flash.bat asks me to hit enter twice and twice returns error 28.

ok, i'll try to flash 62CN40WW later in the evening and report.

Bad luck... I can't even downgrade. I got "Error 233 - Only secured capsule is allowed on a SecureFlash system!" In both windows 7 and 8.

Do I really need a programmer? Any advice about the procedure?
