Hi,

Unfortunately I am getting this error message:

Error 28: Protected Range Registers are currently set by BIOS, preventing flash access.

Could you please advise? Thank you for your quick service as well.

There is included an svl7 prr.exe tool to bypass the Error 28 but if It cannot
flash equaly You get a Big Issue as You need an HW SPI Programmer as
your Eeprom Chip is Write Protect and We cannot bypass It !!!

Hi,

Originally this laptop was able to be flashed. I remember flashing a modded bios, but it screwed up something. I ended going back to the original bios. I recently updated the BIOS to a newer version (the one you modded). Why is the EEPROM now Write Protected, when it wasn't before?
