Hello everyone. In general, the problem is that after updating the BIOS laptop has become longer and included some of the lost function. I hope for your help. if you need more then what characteristics of this accomodation tell - give. Help me pls

I'd love to get any tips as I have the same issue as Otter here. I formatted my ADATA 16GB stick to FAT32, used the ROM here renamed to PIWG1.bin and followed the instructions but it gives the fan spinup and black screen, along with not being responsive to any keys, but no beeps, and nothing happening to the BIOS, no matter how long I hold FN-B or wait once its spinning with the black screen.

Also, the current BIOS on the machine is 3.05, but the current from Lenovo is 3.10. Am I better upgrading to that then entering a new request?

Still looking for some guidance. I used InsydeFlash with this .bin and was able to flash my BIOS. I have flashed using the latest from Lenovo to 3.10 on both the Bios and EC.

With Insyde and the PIWG1.bin I got a successful result, but it didn't show me much different in the BIOS itself. Other members had posted some screenshots and I don't see those submenu's. In the BIOS I now see the BIOS is listed as the older 3.08 modified version here, but the EC still shows the 3.10 version from Lenovo.

My only goal is to whitelist this thing so I can upgrade the wireless card, but the the results of others seemed to unlock more options, like increasing the video card memory etc etc. I have no idea if what I've done has achieved this.

Any advice?
