[REQUEST] Lenovo Thinkpad Edge E440 & E540 (J9ETxxWW) Whitelist Removal
#81
Hello to all,

I also have Lenovo Thinkpad E540 with
BIOS Version: J9ET9CWW (2.22)
I have it installed from official website: https://download.lenovo.com/pccbbs/mobiles/j9uj22ww.exe

From some reason Im not able to load or backup the current BIOS by your or any tools that I find on the internet. Maybe it is because I have Win10 64bit OS. (Yes I run them as admin etc.)

Can you do whitelist removal for this case also? Maybe by whitelisting removal inside original files?

Thanks a lot

PS. I just want to replace Intel Wireless-N 7260 by Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260.

Hi

Original file is $0AJ9000.FL1 and it is Phoenix BIOS. That is at least what I was able to find. Wink

I had try to look inside it by Phoenix SLIC MOD tool from your web, but Im not so good as you guys in looking inside it to find exact module in it.

$0AJ9000.FL1 is attached as zip file.

Thanks for looking in to it.

First tool reported that it cant detect BIOS version.

During the Universal Bios Backup some process stop working bu it still created something. (Attached as results.rar)

AIDA tool was able to create the report without problem. (As Report.zip)

My problem is that while I BIOS program, Post  boot time from 3 to 20 seconds increases and  You attach a file size that is up to 12M but  Must be 8m  Sad
