I think I managed to do that. I downloaded original x86 flash utility from lenovo, got Windows Live USB and replaced BIOS file and platfrom.ini.

Thanks for your response. I didn't see your message before writing mine. The problem is that I didn't have Windows installed. I had to get it running on some USB image I found in the net.

I think I have now the same issue as in this thread https://www.bios-mods.com/forum/Thread-L...in-windows
I plugged in exactly the same Intel Wifi card 7260. BIOS and Grub bootloader lag miserably. There are seem to be no issues when Linux takes over but I still don't like it. Perhaps I will have to put the original Wifi module and use external wireless adapter.
