I modded PB EN69TK for SLIC 2.1 and I know that :

Bell EasyNote TE69KB = platform AMD Kabini using PRR and FPT will not work

So if Your is based on AMD and using FPT get error 201, only way to flash bios
is by SPIPGM HW look here :

Ok if your laptop is based on AMD CPU You cannot flash normaly Eeprom and need use an external programmer (SPI Prog) as FPT Intel tool to bypass protections
don't work on AMD processor !
I hope You understand, so let me know which processor has your laptop, I said that have done a mod for this laptop and owner has had get SPI prog to reflash bios in Eeprom and It was done desoldering chip from MoBo !

The bios seems to be locked to only accept windows boot manager as a bootable device and hence my EasyNote is cursed with Windows 8....

Hi friend,
I modded this Bios v.2.05 time ago and This Eeprom is Write Protect, then your CPU is an AMD and game over !
Let me know if your CPU is Intel We can use FPT to write Eeprom, but if is AMD will be a problem and It needs an SPI External Programmer to do It !
Use this tool, run It as Administrator and upload here the resul file so I can look Your Eeprm Status :

As I said your Laptop has an AMD CPU so Intel FPT is not usable and your Eeprom
chip is Write Protect !

Hello, thank you for you help so far, sorry it wont work anymore, and no, i dont have an SPI programmer.
arent there any key combination you can press to make it possible to make other changes to the laptop? right now i cant even change the HDD, how do a service technichan do if the HDD breaks down?:/
