Howdy! I made the mistake of buying myself a WWAN card for my laptop without knowing how hostile vendors are to aftermarket modifications, and now it seems I can't use my new device with my laptop. I heard that y'all might be able to help me out:
It looks like I need to get the whitelist removed from BIOS for my laptop. I've got a link to the download from the manufacturer's site, the included WLAN card's hardware ID is PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_A0F0&SUBSYS_00708086&REV_20 (although I didn't get this device shipped with a WWAN card), and I went ahead and universal extractor'ed the BIOS image from the installer, loaded it up in PhoenixTool, and didn't see any indication that it required decryption.
Please let me know if there's any more information I can provide y'all!

no love, however brief, is wasted
