HI CAMILOML ,

here is your bios file with modified TPM menu , physical operations menu and the MEROM CPU CONTROL SUB-MENU .

.rar   BIOS.rar (Size: 677.75 KB / Downloads: 107)

infact , the bios has a routine for these menus and options inside it , it checks the cpu ID then decides to show or hide this menu .

try this and i`m waiting your reply Smile

Now all menus are working. Just a curious thing is that in menu emulation there's a "Peryn" control submenu at same level of Merom. And that one does not show in bios. Anyway i don't even know what processor it fits, that laptop is my wife's and i don't work too much with it.

Thank you for the unlocking, good job Wink

HI CAMILOML ,

if you just opened the 2 menus ( merom and peryn ) in the original bios file , you should have found that THEY CONTAINS EXACTLY THE SAME OPTIONS Big Grin
i have my own method for adjusting the chechsum of the bios modules , so i have removed one of these 2 menus ( as they are the same ) and unlocked the frequency ratio then linked the frequency ratio to the merom menu and linked the cpu control menu to only the merom menu ( deleted the bytes of the peryn menu to keep the chechsum correct )

then you have found that the merom is locked ,,,,,so i have searched for it`s routines and replaced the function which locked it as well as the options inside TPM and PHYSICAL menus................then corrected the chechsum again by replacing some of the penryn menu bytes Big Grin

your bios is now unlocked and the options of the 2 menus ( MEROM AND PERYN ) are the same Smile
