Hi friend,
We cannot distinguish Bios I3 or I5, for us It exist only G480 5ECN96WW (v9.01)
or Others releases !
So if do You want something specific You have to be specific !
I will write PM
Regards

thankyou for quick response. but I saw a few times on this forum there are some laptops G480 using several different versions of the bios. bios version 5ECN96WW (v9.01) and 62CN40WW. BIOS with version 5ECN96WW (v9.01) using the i5. i think if it would be different depending processors also the BIOS.

Hi everyone, just a day ago I could not power mi system due to the fact that there is no Bios, or it is damaged, I have been reading more than 12 hours how to recover it, I need to recover it because it is my personal computer and i use it to study.
In few words I need to restore the original or updated Bios, I tried to do it by myself but i could not. I know the "fn + r" recovery method works becasuse my pendrive's led turns on when I try to reset, but I almost sure that I do not have the correct method to do this.

I only have the original bios in a .EXE file, from lenovo directly.

THis is the download site from Lenovo:
http://support.lenovo.com/us/en/downloads/ds036553
I use systems in 64x but i dont know if there is a difference in BIOS.
My BIOS is UEFI (I guess that would help)
My lenovo is:
Lenovo G480
Model Name: 20156
S/N WB08xxxxxx
PD: My laptop came with Win8 and I upgraded it to Win 8.1. But now I would like to have dual boot (Ubuntu and Windows 8.1)
Thank you very much.
Sorry if my English is bad, I'm from Peru
