I have the "error 28" message saying security doesn't allow for flashing is there nothing eles I can do?

Hi,

I'm not going to fill the sys info cause I have already done the most part (as I guess) of the stuff. Actually I have the .ROM file that has to be modified finding the apposite string where to change the value for unlocking advanced BIOS options.

your Bios is an Inside and there will be problems to reflash so to see
your Laptop Eeprom Status use this tool run It as Admin and upload

Hello everyone,

after some reading through forum and google, i got my bios backup with "fpt tool" from this Youtube Video.

It is a .bin file, so i am trying to have a request to get my bios unlock because i cant do nothing with my bios. it is complete disabled. the laptop only use the AMD Card instead of the HD4000 for battery saving.

My Bios Info: (msinfo32 from Windows 10)

BIOS-Version/Date:       Insyde Corp. R0170D6, 13.03.2012
SMBIOS-Version:           2.7
UEFI Bios:                     Yes

Yesterday my bios was R014xxx and today i used an update from Sony Website, which i will attach with. 

In attachment is the fresh backup .BIN file i got from the "fpt tool". Please let me know if i need to do something else!

I recently at the forum.
I would like to request the unlocking of the extended menu for my InsydeH20 BIOS R0140D6 on Sony VAIO SVE1712E1RB laptop.  Need to enable AHCI mode for the next OS X build (Hack). At the moment, the BIOS does not allow anything.
