Hello,
As I understood, this tool is checking versions of the Flash Devices and Flash Programming Tool
Some of tests were not completed - Error 201, why ?

I'd be happy to see the Whitelist removed from my notebook BIOS.

Lenovo Thinkpad E330
Model ThinkPad Edge E330 3354-ALG
Bios version: LENOVO 3354ALG/3354ALG, BIOS H3ET76WW(1.13) 04/15/2016
Original bios: https://download.lenovo.com/pccbbs/mobiles/h3uj76wd.iso
Bios backup: not yet done
Would like to run: Intel AC-7260 with Bluetooth.

I'm a Linux only user. The notebook was shipped with FreeDos only. I've already flashed latest Lenovo BIOS coming from v1.02.
I have a FreeDOS usb drive to boot and to get a BIOS backup and later flash the modded one.

What tool (FPT ?) can I use to run from FreeDos drive to get the backup? What command do I need to run?

Would I loose something in Linux flashing someone else modded BIOS?

Shocked
Hello Guys, i stumbled over this Forum searching for a solution of this depressing Whitelist Problem.
I was amazed that you can fix this by editing the Bios, and i really, really do appreciate, what you're doing here for us.
This is great, man.

I hope, you can help me too with this issue, and fix this Bios, so I can activate the Intel AC 7260. I saw, there was a Guy a couple of pages back, who had the ATG, but his Bios was e.g. 1.12, mine is 1.09.

Lenovo Thinkpad E330
Model ThinkPad Edge E330 3354-ATG
Bios version: LENOVO  BIOS H3ET72WW(1.09) 02/25/2013
Bios backup: https://www.sendspace.com/file/8e8hrf
Would like to run: Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260
Originally comes with Intel Centrino N-2230 (rev4)
Result.rar can be found here https://www.sendspace.com/file/8853q4

Again, I really do appreciate, what you're doing @ all

I was able get a backup using fpt.exe -d BIOS.BIN -bios. Link ist here:

Can someone please remove the WL? Thx.

Hi Forum!

I can only repeat marco76 - I'd be happy to see the Whitelist removed from my notebook BIOS. I hope Dudu2002 might help me too...

Lenovo Thinkpad E330
Model ThinkPad Edge E330 3354-ATG
Bios version: LENOVO 3354ATG, BIOS H3UJ76WD(1.14) 05/10/2016
Original bios: https://download.lenovo.com/pccbbs/mobiles/h3uj76wd.iso
Bios backup: not yet done (is 1.12 so I can not use the 1.09)
Would like to implement: Intel AC-7260 with Bluetooth.

For further Problems - if anyone likes, please - any method to show the disc content? Ultraiso oder WinRAR does not work. I found that http://www.endeer.cz/bios.tools/bios.html but didn´t have a chance to sort ist out. Might be that I have to solve that issue on a HP8560w...

Thanxs for your help,
Think 330

Hello!
You can use bios mod provided by Oleh-Dudu2002 however it is not universal. You'll lose all private data like MAC-addresses, SN,Windows key and etc.
This mod make laptop Clone with another private data in good cause.
In bad cause you may get bricked laptop.
Flash this mod at own risk.
Don't forget donate to Oleh for his dangerous work if mod is successfulSmile
