HP Compaq 6000 Pro SFF & Intel Core 2 Quad Q9650

Hello, I've seen that the HP Compaq 6000 Pro SFF will work with the Intel Core 2 Quad Q9650.
Unfortunately, all I get is a black screen and no hard drive activity when I put one in. I'm told to update my BIOS, but its already at the latest version (v2.03 rev a) Can anyone help me?

Please tell sSpec of your new Q9650.
Post screenshots of first (CPU) & third (Mainboard) tabs of CPU-Z with supported CPU.
