CBS IFR is CBS IFR ?

You can unsuppress items in those, as already covered and mentioned in this thread, can you already see any CBS items in BIOS now?

i have not re applied the bios you created as of yet because i am going to have to use the programmer to do it been meaning to ask if its going to wipe out the needed settings like the serial, mac and other items like that?

http://forum.notebookreview.com/members/mhdvt.695327/

mhdvt @ notebookreview has apparently modded his BIOS with the AGESA and microcode blobs from a desktop board... in theory this should allow booting newer CPUs he said he is interested in getting Zen 2 working on it... so I guess when it comes out he may post something.

Linking here just to make you guys aware and so you can check if he releases anything.

Yes draklrd, using programmer you will need to make a dump first, and that file will be modified instead, that way you don't loose system details.

Been a long time sorry for the delay in posting rl got kinda busy.  So I have created a Backup via the SPI programmer of my current bios for you to take a look at I am still interested in unlocking hidden bios setting and if possible patching in the newer AGESA code to get newer cpu support not sure where to start but i am willing to test. I did test flashing a similar Desktop bios but like you said it led to nada the system would not even turn on after the update but I did test my backup and it worked with no issues.  but that being said i am iffy about posting this bios generally with my mac, serial, and other info that windows may be tied to but i am fine with posting it with these items removed if possible or am I being paranoid?

Please zip for me some images of your BIOS, mainly at least one image of all visible main sections. And then also include anything CBS or PBS related you have inside any of the submenus.

Also, please link your exact BIOS download page, so I can grab stock BIOS for comparison (Seems I don't even have the stock BIOS in the title of this thread, so I assume no one actually had that exact system or I would have downloaded it already???)

You're fine to post a dump publically, but some people never learn and will flash it eventually (For no reason), so give a warning they'll loose board specific details. Big Grin
