[REQUEST] Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro (76CNxxWW) Whitelist Removal
Hi Dudu2002,

Happy I've found your forum. My Yoga 2 pro was driving me crazy with crappy N-wifi and dropping Bluetooth connections. Now it's finally clear its not the drivers but the hardware, jey!
Can you set me up to create a BIOS dump to whitelist the replacement gear.
And as a bonus, do you have any ideas what is currently the best replacement? Intel AC 9260?

Tia!

Wietse

Hi!I have a Yoga 2 Pro 20266 laptop that I want to add a Intel Dual Band Wireless-Intel 7260NGW card. My Bios: 76CN43WW. I'm hoping to get my bios whitelist modified to make that possible.

Here is a link to my bios dump

Please help me with the BIOS mod of my T430? Bios version g1uj43us, 2.76
You need to disable the white list for wi-fi/battery and enable the Secret menu in the bios. 1.5 months I suffer and can't understand it. Please help me. And how to flash the BIOS later?

hi, I just successfully modified my Lenovo Yoga Pro 2 with whitelist removal. Attached is the modified factory rom with white list removed
http://www.mediafire.com/file/k5rhtx2w97...l.ROM/file

The blob that I modified with IDA pro by modifying 3 bytes is:
http://www.mediafire.com/file/4cnfld4cn0...y.efi/file
This blob is used to replace the original section by using UEFITool.

I did my modification with hardware SPI programmer, As I am not able to repack the ROM back to the original Insyde format, yet awaiting for someone familiar with the process in providing a guide on how to flash the ROM package with a bootable flash utility.

Hello,

My laptop is lenovo yoga 2 pro(model 20266) with bios version 76CN43WW and ec version 76EC30WW. I got someone modded my bios with removed whitelist but the problem is that i cannot flash the modded bios.

When i try fpt8.1 it says error 201 "fpt.exe cannot be run on the current platform" and with fpt9.5 it says error 280 "failed to disable write protection for the bios space". I also tried prr it says ready but doesn't work and prr2 says "flash protection could not be removed".

So does it mean that i have to buy the spi programmer or could i get any working bios here?

Hi
No SPI-programmer required
Use fpt 10.x
