Asus Rampage III Extreme ZioMod Bios (Latest: 1601_S17)
Hi everyone, please forgive me if go ot, i have a ocz vertex 3 120 gb ssd, i have idea to buy a new one ,around christmas , to make a raid 0. As i can read few post back , it's no a great idea.So at this point it's better to buy a bigger one (256gb) like vertex 4 or better samsung 830? Anyway thank you for your work.

Hi Zio finally i solve my problem, the problem was HD failure in fact one of two Vertex are bugged, now i have installed all my OS on the working one HD, i got this benchamark on Marvell controller:

They are pretty much in line with the expectations for Marvell controller. Intel would give you lower sequential read but higher 4k writes, and an overall better experience. Can you post your machine's specs?

This is only useful for OEM version of windows isn't it?
I'm not using an OEM version of Windows, can I still use this without issue?
I know it has been asked before but it's still unclear to me.

It can be used with any OS version. If you don't have an OEM version it won't be used, that's it.

Hi zio i have a huge problem, i was plug in an opticalcable on spdif audio and for mistake i push a clear csmos bios button on rear panel of my mainboard Ramopage III extreme, pc shutdown and didn't start anymore Sad i can see from led that stuck on BOOT DEVICE led, i have try ALL, i tried switch bios , i unplug evry peripherical, i have try to change power suplly, im going to be mad pc wan't start anymore any suggestion??? plz help me [/align]

Uhm... Make sure the clear CMOS button is not stuck in pushed position. Try removing any and all peripherals except video card, unplug everything except keyboard, clear CMOS again and start the PC. If this doesn't work, try the bios recovery procedure detailed on the user manual.
