Can you boot in Windows or boot from USB-stick?

No. I dont even see a post screen (not sure if the board is supposed to show one). As soon as the screen lights up, it says "enter password"

Try to force booting from backup BIOS (DualBIOS™).
Or make current dump of BIOS by a hardware programmer.

Hi Devryd,

I understand that you have stated you have already tried to reset the CMOS however I just wanted to double check you had followed the process as outlined in the manual which is as follows:-

You'll see there is a jumper labelled "CLR_CMOS" on the bottom right hand corner of the board ....

Use this jumper to clear the BIOS configurations and reset the CMOS values to factory defaults. To clear
the CMOS values, use a metal object like a screwdriver to touch the two pins for a few seconds.

• Always turn off your computer and unplug the power cord from the power outlet before clearing the CMOS values.

• After system restart, go to BIOS Setup to load factory defaults (select Load Optimized Defaults) or manually
configure the BIOS settings (refer to Chapter 2, "BIOS Setup," for BIOS configurations).

This is the first occurrence that I have ever heard of where a password would persist after clearing the CMOS - given that the password is stored in the CMOS , clearing it should clear the password.

Makes me think that perhaps it didn't properly reset ....

The password on boot is the "Security Option" in the BIOS Features menu - because this is an option that has to be set (by default there wouldn't be any password set) then clearing the CMOS should restore the default BIOS settings , thus removing the password.

I would also try removing the CMOS battery from the board and leaving it removed for 30-60 minutes.
