Also, if that is all you have in your USB that's not going to work, it needs to be bootable USB and FPT needs to be there too, all in the root of the USB (Nothing in folders)

Yeah, that's what I exactly did. Put all files needed into the USB after making it bootable. FPT and all files. I just decided to crop the rest of the stuff off, as they're working normally. The problem is just that DOS can't see the MBCP bin once I tried using FPT to flash it. Unmodded one is detected and flashes fine.

Show me not cropped USB contents, and the DOS screen with command given and error shown, otherwise I am just guessing based on two unknown variables.

Well then, I'll redo the thing again I guess. I formatted the USB drive back to normal. Will let you know as always when I can.

Well slow down, you rushing too much again, that's how you got here to begin with, no need to redo anything until we're done.
And really, USB was already "Normal", unless you usually use in NTFS or something Big Grin
Anyway, leave it setup for this since it will continue to be needed until we're done, or until you have programmer in hand.

I don't see what the issue is here with windows or DOS, no one else has these problems (well Win10 gives people hard time often), but DOS not really unless something setup incorrectly or incorrect commands used etc.

Heh, well, yeah. I really have been rushing through the whole process. I'll try to calm down next time though, anyway, I got the pictures. Sorry if the file size was large, I have to take ones when I'm in DOS with a phone. (At least I spent my time compressing them. So they're not big anymore. Big Grin )

Resized and smaller KB images is appreciated, thanks

Very weird, but thank you for the images. Try renaming mod BIOS file to short name, maybe that long name is the issue? Just rename to mod.bin, then test again. Remember, if you get red warning this time, stop and do not flash, show me.

I'll redo the mod if there is a size issue, but I already double-checked and everything is correct. I'll redo anyway, but just saying I did already check to be sure this wasn't an obvious issue on the initial mod

The renaming works, but when I tried flashing it, the same data verify mismatch error still pops in. Anyway, there's another pic as you wanted.

Please show me complete image so I can see command given as well as error, and all the info presented.

Also, send new latest BIOSreg.bin dump and I will redo the mod, I think you may have some faulty bytes on your BIOS chip though. I've seen this before and that was only conclusion we could surmise, until user was able to flash in DOS which isn't working in your case.

Well then, there you go. As you wished. Big Grin
(Looks like I also forgot to show command given, but what I did was FPT.exe -bios -f biosmod.bin. Exactly as I should. So yeah, nothing is wrong for that one.)

Thanks, I will redo mod, but I bet it will be 100% match (except for changes in your new dump NVRAM), and the cause is something wrong at some byte in your BIOS chip.
We could try rewrite commands, but that's only safe once you have programmer in your hand. Order now if you have not already, otherwise you may never be able to make any progress at attempting to have an unlocked BIOS.

This BIOS has your serial and other board specific identifying stuff in it, previous dump did not, so there may have been an issue with your initial dump somehow? Or, as mentioned, the chip is messing up and sometimes not allowing certain areas to be read or written to. So, that would cause a mismatch, however, it should write what you give it anyway - mismatch means what it wrote didn't match what it read (Source file), meaning something didn't write as it intended. There may be more, or many more differences too, don't have time to check it all out.

Here is new mod, only 3 bytes are changed (one to enable menu test, and two for disable BIOS Lock for easier FPT flashing), however due to compression of BIOS modules and rebuild it looks like more than that when checked via hex (non-BIOS tool), which is normal (in case you decide to check that way)
