[REQUEST] Ideapad 300-15ISK Logo Change
#1
Hi guys. I dumped my BIOS using programmer and the SOIC clip. I tried using InsydeH20EZE tool to change the logo. After the flashing of modded BIOS computer booted but as if there was no boot logo. I got only the Windows Splash Screen. I dont know what i am dong wrong. I also prepared several logos for several resolutions. Reason for that is i found many logos inside the BIOS file and could not decide which one of them the BIOS using as a splash logo. Thank you all in advance.

Thank youso much. It works. I am going to make a donation to you and to your good work over your site. How did you make it work? I had the same res image. I tried converting the bmp to pcx. It also did not work. Which programs did you use? Can you tell me steps so that i could try? Later i will post a guide for people like me. There are not many guides out there to help us. Again... Thank you.

This doesn't need any guide , you can try open my 1st test mod and logo1 mod with H2OEZE then view component > logo , you can know where the correct item of boot logo .

After you flashing my 1st test mod ,you answer me you saw a green 548x308 on top-down left corner.

So , i can conform the correct boot logo is this item.

Then transfer lenovo bmp image you provided to tga format and replace original , it's so simple.

Questions:
You used H2OEZE to change the logo?
Which program did you use to convert bmp to tga?
Did you use .tga extention or the .icb?

Hi guys,

Greetings from Brazil!  I have just update the BIOS on my Lenovo Ideapad 300-15ISK 80RS laptop to the latest version, and I simply hate the new BIOS splash screen logo!  It's beyond ugly and I would like to change it.  Is it possible to do it on this specific model?  I opened the bioss.fd file in H2Oeze Easy BIOS Editor, but it didn't find any logos in it.  Could anyone please help me do this?  I'm a total newbie in regards to BIOS modding.  I'm attaching a zip file with the latest BIOS I downloaded from Lenovo.  Thank you very much for your attention, time and help.  I really appreciate it.

Best regards,

JC [Image: 16x16_smiley-happy.gif]

Thread creator was use SPI hardware programer to backup bios directly from bios chip ,so he doesn't need consider any flashing problem when he re-write bios.

But i think there is write protected in official bios , i can't process it , sorry .
