Hello,
First of all, many appreciations to the work you're doing here.
Passion for success.
Secondly, getting to the bottom of this:
I would like to install an Intel AC card on my Thinkpad E430, BIOS-mod needed.
Attached BIOS Reports: https://goo.gl/wPmECc
Thinkpad E430
BIOS Version: 2.58 (H0ET98WW)
BIOS Date: 08/18/2016
Thanks in advance,
Likudio

Hi @likudio, @Dudu2002,
I have the same request - my laptop is Thinkpad E430 - BIOS Version: 2.58 (H0ET98WW) & BIOS Date: 08/18/2016.
Please advise how would I be able to install an Intel AC card.
Thanks.

Hey,
How were you able to pass the PRR security measure?
Which version of BIOS did you have?
On my T430 didn't work.
Thanks,
A.

A. Hi
1. all mod is personal
2. Bios mod can be flashed using SPI-programmer+SOIC8 clip only

Hi there!
After getting an SPI Programmer and a SOIC cable, Dudu2002 gave me his advice and I've successfully made it.
So yes - the mod is a hardware-one - you'll need to extract your laptop mainboard, dump its BIOS with the tools recommended by Dudu2002, send the BIOS image over to him then write back the modded image.
FWIW, my Lenovo is an E430 with BIOS v2.58.
Cheers,
Andrea.
