Yes, but if It will rick laptop You will have to Recovery using old Bios Recovery File (normaly You can find them into HP_TOOLS hidden partition) !

If it bricks the laptop, how would the laptop start with the old hard disk that has the backup BIOS? The USB stick recovery doesn't seem to work (see my post #16 https://www.bios-mods.com/forum/Thread-R...9#pid79639).

Hi BDMaster,

I tried the modded bios but Insyde does not work. When I click Start, it comes back with this error message:

I couldn't get the USB stick recovery to work previously either (see this post https://www.bios-mods.com/forum/Thread-R...9#pid79639) so looks like the BIOS can't be changed. Anything else to try?

Hi friend,

I tried the patched version but it still does not work. When I click start, after a few minutes it comes back with this error message:

I think this BIOS would be difficult to mod so perhaps just leave it if you think this is not possible. Anything else you want me to check Sir?

I downloaded sp60935 or 0338DF08.bin from someone here at this site - some time ago when it was here.

I should of never removed it from my BIOS - I should of stored it better. Perhaps I was just lucky or lost the one that worked.

I did store it - I tried what I stored. Now none of them work. Lost the one that did work enough to use the card.

The few problems I had - check cards for differences. Some cards run cooler - some cards overheat.

I found the card that does not overheat - runs cooler than original. Will not connect to the internet - must restart with every start

It was great - after I restarted. I could connect to the internet - therefore It is possible for a BIOS Mod to happen.
