Hi friend,
your Eeprom Chip is Write protect, You can see into result file (unpack It)
only using HW SPI Programmer can do this job :

There is a backup available on lenovo site of the latest bios which i have installed on my systrem as well.

Would this work on my system after getting modded?

The Bios Mod is modified so It has to be appied after Update !
You have to update your Bios and then prepare a Full Dump Firmware
(reading Eeprom Chip) then upload this file here and I will modify to apply
the patch and reupload fro You !
Only after that You will rewrite your Firmware modified into Eeprom Chip
to get the Remove Whitelist !
