hi folks -

i'm requesting a whitelist removal for toshiba satellite A215-S5837.  BIOS is Phoenix Ver 2.30.  i'd like to change out the wifi card to either realtek 8191SE or intel centrino 112bnhmw.

right now, intel card is not recognized at all, and realtek is recognized, but will not enable with switch or hotkey.

i can try to do it myself if i can get tools and instructions to do it.

thanks much in advance.

So You used Sleep Bug . . .

Use Sleep Bug to flash It . . .

Unpack the Bios Mod and copy the "modified" folder into C: HD root place !
Then open Command Promt with Admin Rights (CLI window C:\), put your laptop
into Sleep Mode (just close the Lid) and then Wacke-Up It (reopen the Lid),
after this execute these comands from CLI window :

cd \

cd modified

fptw -f bios.bin -bios

(or fptw64 for Windows x64)

And Got Error 28 ?
Try now the flash Booting from USB Stick in DOS Pure env,
follow instructions included . . .
There is an Svl7 tool = prr.exe to bypass the Error 28 . . .
If You get at same way this error then only the Tools can make thi job !
so look here :
