After buying these stuff what do I need to do next? We are flashing bios of the original p7h55 on my mobo? It's late here, tommorow I'll check in stores for those parts, I'm sure I'll find them or else I'll order online.

Hey I found these parts online, they will deliver within 4-5 days. Till then is there something I need to do aur just wait?

Nothing to do but wait, once you get the tools we'll dump your BIOS, then I will put all your system specific details into the main matching boards BIOS, then you will program that on instead and you'll be done Big Grin

Okay I'll reply on this thread as soon as I receive those products. We can continue the procedure after that.

Great, that was quick! Here is guide on how to setup and use the programmer
https://www.bios-mods.com/forum/Thread-G...programmer

First thing to do, without even having device connected to your other PC, is run the software versions (all you think you might use), one at a time and on the "Auto" function button, click the drop-out menu and uncheck erase and blank check. This way no chips accidentally get erased.

Pull out the chip, and notice it's direction on your board, there is a notch in the chip itself and one in the side of the socket too. BIOS must always go back in same way, notch on chip goes on the side of socket with the notch.

The notch side of the chip will go into the middle of the programmer at the inner/middle section of 4/4 pins block, you'll see what I mean in guide above, pin one is on the lever side of the programmer.

Once you have chip in programmer correctly, open the software and click detect and choose your chip ID. Then click read, once it's done click verify and if/when you get "Buffer and chip match" or something along those lines you save. Then send me that file and I will check it, and if valid I will pull the details and put in other BIOS for you to program. Or easier possibly, I can edit the flash ID of your current BIOS to match the standard board one, then you can flash the stock BIOS for the mainstream board using normal methods. This can be done several ways, whichever you think will be easier for you (That last one may be easier for both of us, wouldn't need to find dump of regular board, transfer data etc)

Hey I am stuck and I need your help. I tried every version of the software but each software shows our programmer as not connected. I tried many drivers but nothing seems to work.

I'm using the black color version of programmer. I was able to remove the chip from mobo but the software didn't detect it. I think I'm having some issues with driver. I tried diffrent version nothing seems to work.

What OS are you using? Connect to USB 2.0 if your using 3.0 now, it's not required but just in case it's causing you issues

Did you install the driver in this package? You only need to install this one driver, for all software versions - http://s000.tinyupload.com/index.php?fil...5007472602

What is your BIOS Chip ID? I can tell you what version of software might work best, or which don't, or what ID to use if not exact.

Finally, show me an image of the chip installed into your programmer, so I can verify you have it in correctly.
