Im new to this forum and i have a X230, trying to understand how this works, if i dump the BIOS with fpt.exe (or similar) to you, are you able to modify with following changes?
-Remove Wi-Fi whitelist
-Remove WWAN whitelist
-Remove battery whitelist
-Enable advanced menu
When getting a programmed BIOS file, will it be possible to just flash it (like any regular BIOS) without any specific hardware?
Also which is the newest BIOS version that can be used for this?

I have x230 with x220 keyboard and battery and thinkpad-ec mod.
The old version of the BIOS is installed there. Also I have bios dump made with 341a.
Can anyone help with removing WI-FI and WWAN whitelists? Is it possible without problems with thinkpad-ec?

Hello, I'm already using a custom EC that I flashed using the CH341a EEPROM programmer. I downgraded to the official 2.74 then followed the steps of this video (but using a SOIC8 clip)

This enables the advanced menu and removes the whitelist so I can use the MC7710 and Intel 7260, but my memories still operates at 1600mhz rather than 1866mhz, and mainly, I can't use my GTX 760 2GB eGPU (ExpressCard Exp GDC) because it triggers the glitch of 100% CPU use... The systems became very slow.
Before I dump my BIOS to send it for you should I flash back the original .BIN?
