how do I dump my bios to send to someone on here?
is it wise to just for everything to be unlocked just in case I want future mods?

You're a real expert in removing the whitelists - helped so many of us. Please help to remove it form my X230 Thinkpad as well.
I've tried to modify the BIOS via PhoenixTools changing the vendor id while updating (junior member Newcat's method). Unfortunately it didn't work (although I followed the method exactly step by step). Then I used CH341A programmer and SOIC8 clip to read the chip.
Please PM me with results of your work when U find some time. I'd be grateful.

Could someone great guy explain in PM how to connect SOIC8 clip to flasher because software doesn't detect chip and not reading either too.
I have a feeling that something connected wrongly.

pin 1 on chip must comply pin 1 in SPI-programmer
