I've got roughly the same problems. Need battery unlock and I'd like to enable the use of other hardware as well. I've already got access to the chip and have made dumps, as well as tested Coreboot, but haven't been able to find a way to update the battery controller with Coreboot to unlock it. Can anyone help me out?

I have Lenovo X230 and want to remove a whitelist from it.
Now, I have:
TL866CS
Clip
MX25L3206E - spare chip
I follow the tutorial:

but I don't have enough expirience with soldering, I decied to use clip. Before I start, I checked programmer and clip with spare MX25L3206E and flash it successefully.
Unfortunatelly, when I use my clip with chip on the motherboard, I get a short circuit or missed pin message.
I tried several times, but with no luck.
I have read you message, to use:

I've read the roms with Raspberry Pi and clip and have attached them. I would like whitelist removal and the advanced menu unlocked.
I've also read about a fix for the ROMS to allow 16GB of memory + external graphics acclerator. Is this possible also? if not the whitelist and advanced menu would be great.

Can someone set me up with whitelist removal and advanced menu please. Both chips are in the zip below.
Can anyone do mine? Going to take a stab myself, but this is my first time, so help is appreciated to compare results!
I already modified the 8 MB dump by running the Intel Management Engine neutralizer script on it, and that works fine.
