how should I go about doing a full dump of my EEPROM? I tried Intel FPT and it creates a 7 MB file which I'm assuming is both the BIOS and the ECP chips. Am I just going to do two individual dumps using the TL866? I still haven't received my SOIC adapter cable so I'm probably just going to proceed by soldering wires to the legs on the chips and plugging them directly into the programmer.

after I make the backups, just to clarify, is it safe to flash the non-whitelisted BIOS you sent me, or is there more information I need (like offset memory address, etc) prior to flashing?
ugh... this has turned into a total disaster. My SOIC adapter cable finally arrived today so I tried to use it. I kept on getting the overcurrent protection warning others have mentioned. I tried the workaround of plugging the power cable in to the laptop without turning the computer on and it seemed like it was going to work. It actually ID'd the chip and started reading it, but failed about ten seconds into it. after that I was unable to get it to recognize the chip. so I resorted to removing the BIOS chip from the board, and I think I had my soldering iron too hot because I destroyed one of the copper foil solder pads in the process of removing the BIOS chip. So, I have destroyed my motherboard and need to buy a new one now.
since the damage was already done, I figured I'd give programming the BIOS chip a shot anyway. I soldered the chip directly to the adapter board as per the diagram (making sure that the dotted pin was in the correct position) and the programmer STILL won't read the BIOS chip. I think I'm just going to strip the CPU, Ram and hard drive from this laptop and sell it as-is/for parts.

I would give a look ! into my first experiment I got something kind but I did
resold on a bit stripped wire MoBo !

Hi.BDMaster,I download it's ,open 79E0EDD7-9D1D-4F41-AE1A-F896169E5216_XXXX.ROM , At offset CCDh-CD2h, Your's E9 00 00 00 00 00, That can lead to IDA sp-analysis failed at sub_B20. CCDh-CD2h 90 E9 00 00 00 00 is better?

I see the following change made:
In 79E0EDD7-9D1D-4F41-AE1A-F896169E5216_2208 at offset 00000C30:

I may be missing some other changes. Is there any way you can explain how these changes are made so I can better understand the process?
