I've been playing around with a recently purchased Lenovo ThinkPad x230 and would love to be able to throw in an 802.11ac WLAN chip and an LTE modem. I pulled the BIOS using an external programmer and would be super grateful if someone could completely remove the whitelist as I'm not sure what chips I'm buying yet!

All possible to modify items in your request, but your bios chip is rewrite protected.
You need to get/buy SPI Programmer+Pomona SOIC 8 clip to flash mod.

I know that, and already have ch341a + soic clip. I can read content of MX25L3206E from my x230.
Yes, you need to read the content of both chips.
If you want get disabled whitelist so reading of EC bios is enough.
For combo request I need both dumps.
Also run this tool and upload bios image

We use Swapping method to unlock Advanced menu, so one of unuseful presented tabs will be hide.Choose it.
