I found out however, that there is something like advanced menu, hidden in the UEFI thing itself, which allows turning said feature off. Now I direct my request to Dudu2002, as I have seen you are the most (and am I wrong in saying the only?) active person willing to help. Would you care to modify my UEFI/BIOS firmware thing (also perhaps with any other fixes available, especially whitelist removal) in your spare time? For that, I would be very grateful.

Hello, I'd like to request a BIOS mod for my X230.

I've dumped SPI flashes in the past using RasPI and clips, but I'm a little bit confused about this "two chips" situations.

Do I have to dump, upload and then flash both chips?

use SPI-programmer and make your bios dump (only MX25L3205D    ID:0xC22016    Size: 4096KB chip)
