[REQUEST] Acer Aspire E1-572(G,P) Bios Unlock
No, this keys foe Lenovo. Each vendor have unique combination of keys for Recovery.
If your keys not work, i suppose you are failed when flashed mod in Recovery mode.
What is happening when laptop turn on without holding on keys?Black screen only?

Please,do not post requests me in PM.Bios modding is very dangerous work.If i provide you confirmed modded bios, please donate for my dangerous work https://goo.gl/98BgtO.Thank you!

You have bricked laptop after failed flashing procedure so it can be recovered with SPI Programmer only!
You can bring laptop to repair service and give first bios mod to flash.
You can also but tools at link posted above and flash mod yourself.

Update from pure DOS with USB-bootable stick
See how to make one here:
http://www.howtogeek.com/136987/how-to-c...usb-drive/

Copy the "Modified" folder contents into the stick and boot in DOS mode and
Run Flash.bat to update.

Question
Hello everyone!

Before addressing my problem, I will tell you exactly what have I done so far. My laptop is an Acer Aspire E1-572G-74508G1 and I've been searching in all of this forum's posts for a way to unlock the advanced settings of my bios (InsydeH20 Rev 3.7). I came accross this file "Aspire_E1-572G_V5WE2217_ADV_ACER21.rar" that is the one people with the E1-572G have been using and reporting good results with. I followed every step with Rufus to create the bootable USB with DOS, but apparently my computer is refusing to boot from the USB Drive.

I have installed several windows/linux distros in my computer in the past and have always done it via an USB Stick.

That said, I have 2 questions:
1 - Is this the correct BIOS to flash on my laptop?
2 - Is there a way to do it without using the DOS USB drive? Or do you guys see what's the problem behind my sudden inability of booting through my USB stick when created with Rufus?

Thank you very my much!

PS: I've been programming all my life, but I'm clueless about this BIOS unlocking/flashing subject. However I'm willing to learn and give it back to the community. From the time I spent searching around I have to say that I was amazed with all the work you guys have been putting up together. Nice job! Big Grin
