I don't get it. I extracted everything using Universal Extractor, then used Phoenix Tool 2.56; I used the options from the first post. I found the hex values, and replaced them...and yet when it goes to create the BIOS, it's like it ignores the changed files!

I compared the files, using MD5, the modified file and the original, and the sums match, which can't be right...

What am I doing wrong?

I think I have a BIOS programmer (I mean, an SPI programmer...I know I have a BIOS reprogrammer, as I used it to resuscitate my CH6. Can anyone perform the needed modification to the ROM?
