OMG!!! IT WORKED, just as a finale question, Now that I installed the new bios, the Wifi whitelist is removed or should I do something else? Should I proceed to install my new card?

alright there im new to bios-mods and I've just bought a Intel 7260 but found out that it was not supported if anyone could help me out please on disabling the whitelist and maybe followed by some instructions on how to do it because im a kinda noob at this ive attached the results file thank you

Read some Posts before ! Best is to Downgrade to 1.30 or 1.31 Bios !


How To Downgrade :

Run this to downgrade:

Remember to set the option in bios that enables you to flash an older bios, before you run it.

I found another solution - Just in case it was ever needed.

Download the 1.14 version

http://download.lenovo.com/consumer/mobi...cn31ww.exe

Then use 7-zip to extract that .exe file, You will find a platform.ini file into that folder.

Then Look for "BIOSVFEnable=2" and replace it with "BIOSVFEnable=0", run as Administrator InsydeFlash.exe tool and go !

Verified working


Then use the tools into posts before to get a reslut file and upload them here !
