Right now im getting error 28: Protected range registers are set preventing bios flash both the times it tries to flash.
Attached a picture of it.
It seems not moddable as Eeprom Protect !
You can try to Downgrade to see if your Eeprom will be unprotect again !
Let me know

Seems like bios 2.01 is lenovo's answer on totally lockdown.
Downgrading did the trick, for any future references.
But the only bios files i could find for downgrading is in the first
post of this thread, so that is a keeper.
Thank you very much for your work and assistance, ill send some beer money
in your direction
Hi BDMaster,
Lenovo released a new BIOS (ver 2.0.1) few days ago. i have a modded bios ver 1.14. Do you think the new bios is moddable? What is your advice? Upgrade or not?
Thanks.

The new bios is able to be modded, as he did it for me, but you do need to flash back to an earlier version to be able to flash the modded 2.01 back in.

So, the upgrade procedure should be the following:
- Upgrade bios to version 2.01
- Send it to BDMaster
- Downgrade to 1.14
- Flash the modded 2.01 bios
Is that correct?
I'm a newbie, is there any tutorial for bios downgrade?
Thank you.

That was the procedure i used, except i wasnt able to find the 1.14 bios anywhere so i used the 1.13 which is linked to in the first post.
http://download.lenovo.com/consumer/mobi...vy2113.exe
Other than that you might need to enter bios and enable "Bios Back Flash" before you can downgrade.
Good luck
