Hello, my laptop is Lenovo Y50-70(9ECN26WW (V1.09)) I would like to upgrade to a Intel AX200NGW.

I have an old BIOS, is it necessary to upgrade before?

I have a Lenovo Y50-70 laptop (UHD Version - 59424712). My Wi-Fi was a problem since I bought it in 2015. I would like to change the Wi-Fi-Card but I can't find a whitelisted Card, which could solve the problem. In addition I would upgrade my internal SSD in the near future without checking the whitelist.
I would like to remove the whitelist.
Could you help me?
My BIOS is: 9ecn43ww (version 3.03)

Thanks everyone for your efforts on this thread.

Was trying to change the wifi card on my laptop Lenovo Y50-70, and got a 7260 NGW card which i thought was whitelisted, but to my surprise i got the unauthorized card error.

Could you please help me to remove the whitelist and if possible to enable the advanced menu in bios? Version is 9ECN43WW(V3.03), bios type shows as Others BIOS / ACPI 2.0.
